Catholic Schools Week – Celebrating the Community

Recycling Can Be Fun!


Bonnie Wurst from the Mercer County Solid Waste Dept. came to visit our 4th grade class. She taught them some fun ways to use items you have around the house instead of just throwing them away.

Christmas Program


Immaculate Conception School recently performed Christmas Around the World. The performance began with our 5th and 6th grade band and was followed by a story narrated with songs with all kids in grades K-6 participating. Mrs. Shelly Morris organized the event.

Volleyball Champions


Our 4th and 5th grade Spartan volleyball girls coached by Lydia and Elyse Giesige participated in the Lima CYO volley ball league this fall. Living Rosary


In honor of Mary during the month of the rosary, the 6th grade class lead their family groups in praying the prayers of the rosary. Instead of using their rosaries, the children sat in the form of a rosary and students held beads while prayers were recited.

Donation for Guatemala


Students from Immaculate Conception School collected money from last school year to help our sister parish and school in El Chan, Guatemala. The money will be used to purchase computer equipment for their school. Carter Hellwarth, Grant Grieshop, Collin Williams, and Evie Holstad are pictured giving the check to Mark Giesige (mission coordinator).
