Immaculate Conception is currently following all school closures recommended during the Pandemic of COVID-19. Our primary consideration is that of the health and safety o our students. During the school closure, teachers will provide work for students to do at home and will be communicating directly with families to help support the student learning. This is true for students in preschool through 6th grade at I.C. The current closure will take us through to May 1, but at this point, we are hopeful we can return to school in May.
Parents will receive regular updates through the school app and should contact the principal if they need any assistance with the app or need for a new person to have access to the app. Some drive-through pick-up/drop-offs for student work will be scheduled and parents will find the needed information on the school app.
We continue to pray for the health and well-being of all people and for the wisdom in our leaders as they make decisions for ongoing concerns. We pray for health care workers and others who continue to work and we pray for those without work and who are concerned about their finances. We pray mostly for our children and their families that they will stay well, that they will keep their spirits up, and that they will thrive academically in spite of this time away from the classroom.
