Mock Trial

Mock Trial Lunch Club
On Friday, May 22nd, students in the Mock Trial lunch club held a trial to decide the guilt or innocence of Princess Sweet Pea, who was accused of forging her birth certificate in order to marry a prince when she was not truly a princess. Students took on the roles of attorneys, witnesses, and the bailiff. Special guest, Judge Mary Pat Zitter, acted as the judge for the trial and found that the prosecution did not provide enough evidence to find Princess Sweet Pea guilty “beyond a reasonable doubt.” A special thank you to Mercer County Assistant Prosecutor Josh Muhlenkamp for volunteering to lead this lunch club and help our students learn more about the judicial process.
